As a fellowship of believers who acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord, we accept the Bible as the inspired Word of God and teach that Baptism should take place when a person surrenders control of their life to Christ.  In both personal and church life we seek to be led by the Holy Spirit.

As a Church we believe that our primary purpose is not to serve our own members needs but to reach out to our local community with the Love of Christ.  However, God has widened our vision from reaching just our local village community to having an impact up and down the Soar Valley. 

The planting of a church in Long Whatton forms a part of the outworking of this vision.

As part of the village community we are a caring church, offering activities and groups for everyone.

For young, old and in between.  Our small group meetings, know as Growth Groups, form the heart of our Church life.
